Building a new home can be a great experience, especially when you know your
interests are being looked after. Remember, the builder
is considered the Seller of the property. It is always
in a Buyer’s best interest to be represented by
a Realtor, rather than a builder’s agent. Because
they must pay a commission to a Buyer’s agent,
most builders would prefer to leave your agent (and
your interests) out of the equation. Having representation
when negotiating with a builder is free to you, and
assures you the best deal.
Leo Lawrence Real Estate will work for your best interests,
not the builder’s. We have worked with many homebuilders
and are familiar with the process. We can make recommendations
based on our experience with most local builders. Be
aware that if you visit a new home construction site
or model home and express interest without mentioning
that a Realtor represents you, many builders will refuse
to allow your Realtor to assist you later. Consult with
an agent at Leo Lawrence Real Estate before visiting
a new home site or speaking with a builder’s agent,
and make sure to let the builder know that we are working
for you!
